About the Institute
About us
A Christian civil non-profit association, newly founded, that supports education, care and social-impact projects in the backlands of Paraíba and beyond — with transparent governance from day one.
Our origin
Instituto Verbo Zin was born from the General Founding Assembly held on 17 de novembro de 2025, when the Bylaws and Internal Regulations were approved and the first Executive Board was elected. On 22 de dezembro de 2025, the Institute received its legal personality, with Registro nº 194.330, Livro A-321 at the 5º Tabelionato de Notas e Único Ofício de RTD-PJ de Campina Grande/PB.
Leading the Institute are Itamar O. Macedo (President), Larissa F. P. Macedo (Vice-President), Samara C. L. de Andrade (Secretary) and André de A. Barbosa (Administrative Director) — the board elected for a two-year term.
We are new, and we make a point of saying so clearly. Our strength lies not in a long history, but in the care for every resource and in trustworthy accountability systems. We believe that managing the system well is more effective — and more honest — than trying to control people.
Mission
To promote the integral formation of individuals, with an emphasis on Christian values, education, social inclusion and sustainable development, through philanthropic projects that impact vulnerable communities.
